Snapshot Assessment

Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Learning Disability & Twice-Exceptional Evaluations in the Greater Los Angeles area.

What makes our evaluations different?

A good evaluation should do more than generate scores and labels. It should give you a clear, usable understanding of yourself or your child- and practical next steps that fit your real life.

What you can expect…

Clear Explanations

You’ll understand what the results mean and how they connect to daily challenges. No clinical jargon, just understandable explanations of strengths & struggles.

A Supportive Testing Experience

Testing is paced with breaks and encouragement. I prioritize emotional safety and rapport so individuals can show their true abilities.

Actionable Recommendations

Your report will include relevant accommodations, intervention ideas, and strategies to implement immediately- at home, school and/or work.

Neurodiversity-Affirming

We believe all brains are beautiful and diagnoses are part of your identity- not problems to fix. We’'ll focus on your strengths and identify what supports can help.

Psychoeducational & Diagnostic Evaluations

Your child deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated- exactly as they are.

By understanding your child’s learning and emotional profile, we can uncover what’s really going on and create a clear path forward. Whether you’re seeking answers related to ADHD, autism, anxiety, trauma, learning differences, or challenges that feel difficult to define, we’re here to help you gain clarity and take the next step with confidence.

  • We offer a range of evaluations designed to help you gain clarity and actionable next steps, and every assessment is tailored to your concerns and referral questions. Options may include snapshot academic or IQ assessments, autism and ADHD assessments, learning disability evaluations, and comprehensive evaluations when concerns span multiple areas. See below for an overview of assessment types, with more details provided on each option to help you choose the best fit.

  • Families reach out for many different reasons, including:

    • Reading, writing, or math struggles

    • Suspected dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dyscalculia

    • Attention and executive functioning challenges (ADHD)

    • Autism-related social communication and regulation needs

    • Emotional overwhelm, school avoidance, or burnout

    • Unclear profiles or mixed results from previous testing

    • Students who are bright but still struggling

    • Twice-exceptional (2e) learners (giftedness + disability)

Whether you’re early in the process or feel like you’ve tried everything, you deserve clarity and support.

  • One of the most common things I tell families is:

You don’t have to know what it is before you reach out.

Many learning and developmental differences overlap. For example:

    • ADHD can look like a learning disability

    • Autism can look like anxiety or behavioral challenges

    • High intelligence can mask support needs (and vice versa)

My role is to help you make sense of the full picture so you can move forward with confidence.

  • After an evaluation, families typically leave with:

✔ A clear understanding of strengths and support needs
    ✔ Diagnostic clarity when appropriate
✔ School accommodation recommendations (504/IEP support)
✔ Practical strategies for home and school
✔ A plan for next steps, not just results

  • Yes- I work with adults as well. I offer assessments for college students and adults who are experiencing challenges related to learning, attention, executive functioning, or emotional well-being, especially when these concerns are impacting academic performance or job functioning. The goal is to provide clarity, documentation when needed, and practical recommendations for accommodations and support.

Full Comprehensive Psychoeducational Evaluation

The most complete evaluation for complex, overlapping, or unclear concerns.

Some students don’t fit neatly into one category. They may be bright and capable, yet school feels exhausting. Or they may have multiple areas of struggle that overlap in ways that make it hard to know what’s really going on.

A comprehensive evaluation provides a full picture of learning, attention, processing, and emotional/behavioral functioning- so you can stop guessing and start supporting.

Best for

  • Multiple areas of concern (learning + attention + regulation)

  • Unclear profiles or mixed results from past testing

  • School avoidance, burnout, or chronic overwhelm

  • Complex learning and behavior patterns

  • Planning for long-term support and accommodations

Snapshot Assessment

A focused evaluation when you have one specific question and want a clear, practical answer.

Sometimes you don’t need a full evaluation — you need targeted information to guide your next step.

A Snapshot Assessment provides a brief, structured look at one domain (academic or cognitive) to help you understand where your child is currently functioning and what supports may help. Also appropriate if you are seeking an IQ test for private school admission.

Best for

  • A specific concern in one area

  • Baseline data before interventions

  • Deciding whether a comprehensive evaluation is needed

  • A quick check-in when challenges are mild but noticeable

  • IQ or Academic assessment for gifted programs or private schools

What’s included ?

Intake + brief background review | Targeted testing in one area | Concise written summary | Practical recommendations and next steps
